Donington Park has a magnificient history that goes back to it hosting its 1st ever motorcycle race back in 1931. Indeed its now widely known that it also hosted the 1st ever British Grand Prix for cars in 1935. But for motorcyclists the 2.5 mile Grand Prix circuit has special memeories for us all.

From the great days of the Transatlantic trophy, to the years of Gardner, Lawson, Rainey, Swantz and of course Micheal Doohan... these were indeed very special times. But the greatness that Donington always seems to bring to the occasion continues.
Who could forget the 2000 BSB chamionship that went down to the wire at... yes you guessed it Donington. Hodgson and Walker battled all year and then we had the ultimate drama when the Stalkers engine gave up and Hodgson won the title....as always it was another unbelievable Donington climax.

Of course in recent years, we have Valentino Rossi, arguably the greatest of them all, and his 1st win in the premier class was in 2000 at Donington Park and not many will forget his masterful display in the atrocious wet conditions in 2005.

Finally in 2008 the pages of history were again written at Donington when the crowd witnessed its first British winner of a British Grand Prix 125 class race in 35 years, Scott Redding.

So when you ride down the pitlane at Donington, you are not just entering one of the greatest Grand Prix circuits the world has to offer, you will be riding from corner to corner with the greats of the past and today. Every lap of our 2.5 mile Grand Prix circuit that you ride will be steeped in history and adventure.
