Safety & Enjoyment
Riding on a race circuit gives a great sense of freedom and adrenalin. It is simply the best and safest opportunity to really experience what your bike was designed for.

We put in measures in place to ensure you can enjoy the experience of riding on a race track in a safe environment. It is of paramount importance to us that you have the freedom of speed and have the environment that keeps both you and your fellow riders as safe as possible. To do this we have strict guidelines that must be adhered to. These rules and guidelines evolve from the same rules our bike racing heroes have when they go to work!

All our events begin with a full safety briefing. In this briefing we cover all the important areas to keep everyone safe. Plus we also give lots of advice and helpfull tips so riders can get the most enjoyment out of the day. Here are some of the key areas covered:

We stress the importance of having the right attitude out on circuit - so everyone enjoys the day. People are put into groups to even out the abilities out on circuit. We continue to assess the abilities of riders throughout the day and actively move riders into a different group if we consider them to be more suited to another group. The format and timings for the day are explained to keep everyone fully informed.  Flag rules are covered so we can communicate fully what is happening out on circuit. Overtaking is a regular and important part of the day so we make it clear how it's done and where it is done to keep everyone safe. We use a guideline of 5-6ft between riders. No close passing is permitted and the emphasis is put on waiting for the right time to overtake - there is no rush. The briefing continues, covering further important areas so that all riders go out on circuit with a full understanding of what to do and what not to do during their sessions. Riders are then fully prepared about what is expected of them and what they need to do to keep safe.

Strict monitoring of the groups is done up in the control tower (all areas of the cicuit are covered by camera's), our flag mashalls do the same from the side of the circuit. Also we have instructors at our events that are there to give advice, take riders out on circuit to improve their riding and monitor the riders in the groups while out on circuit. First time trackday riders wear yellow jackets. This helps us and other riders in the group look after them.

We like our riders to feel they are in the safest environment we can provide and enjoy the thrill of our fantastic circuit!
